Ahhhh…

well…it’s only been 3 years since my last blog & from what i understand blogging has been overtaken by podcasts, netflix, and google (though google has always been & always will be). a friend of mine challenged me to do something mindful – therapeutic if you will – once a day. so i started exercising again. that’s neat. something else was on my mind though…and that was this blog. i started it over a decade ago. not that i saved the world thru writing or really that anyone actually read it – but i thought i’d give it a go for a season…

today one of my dear old friends got married. i’ve blogged about her a few times i believe. she was one of the 3 of us girls who had a dating challenge years ago. 2 out of the 3 of us are now married. as i sat between two very close friends tonight watching our gal walk into a new season of life, my heart was filled with joy. true. joy. we’ve shed many tears over loves lost throughout the years – and here we were tonight watching her walk into this new season with joyful tears. she has had her fair share of heartache and hardship these past 8 years that i’ve been gone. to see God work in only ways He can has made me speechless. there is something so divine & sovereign about the friendships God cultivates in our lives. wishing all who come across this page the beauty and sanctuary that best friends bring.
