Day 5, 6 & yes 7
whew! ok, so it’s been a weekend…more on that during day…well soon
ok, day 5: short/long term goals/dreams – top 3
short term ~ 1/2 marathon less than two weeks, revamp my budget, continue to get teeth worked on
long term – africa trip, save for emergency fund again (as i just spent mine), sell my house
day 6: 10 songs that describe me/mean alot to me (yeah, going with 5 on this)
1. i’d rather be with you – joshua radin
2. the promise – tracy chapman (love, love, love this)
3. beautiful – phil wickham (when we arrive at eternity’s shore – where death is just a memory & tears are no more…)
4. beyond the sea – robbie williams (my dad & i used to dance to this)
5. i want to hold your hand – the beattles (leads into day 7…)
day 7: nicknames
so i do love to hold hands (as previously said) & thus as i was laughing & telling my friend miki about this one day – years back – it slipped out that i’m a hand holder (*it was a different word – we’re censoring here*). she reminded me of this name when i saw her a few months ago & it is quite funny. in fact, a guy once asked what song i would pick if i were to sing karaoke – being that it was probably inappropriate to break out into the beattles song – i decided just to smile & say i wasn’t sure. i do laugh every time i think about it.

this morning the sunrise was perfect – as if i was already in africa & the weather felt glorious (yes, i have had my panera coffee too). driving to work with my sunroof back as the day breaks is one of my absolute favorite moments.
so i hung out with the gals last night & we had tons of fun & laughter (trying to get the girls to play the business card game, but they didn’t warm up to it) – including planning a trip to see my love – mr. joshua radin. i’ve written about him before so i’m re-linking it for everyone’s enjoyment. in fact, this song is just came on my pandora station. love it.
if you haven’t done so recently, i highly encourage surprising yourself to encourage laughter and rejuvenation. whatever it takes – for me it was a random dinner with friends.
