winter again?
i’m sorry but what?? i walked out of the house today in flip flops (on my way to my semi-annual hair cut) to a raining downpour. i called my parents to complain about this extreme weather condition, and they proceed to tell me about a blizzard whiteout they were currently driving thru. huh? when did winter come? i don’t understand why it has to come every year. can’t just one year we get a bonus like ‘hey! 78 degrees year round for the go-green efforts! keep up the good work!’
here’s to fireplaces, hot cider, friends & family that make winter endurable…and the random trips to the beach.
roadtrip!
it’s definitely time for a much needed vacation. not that i hate my job by any means – it’s simply that one’s brain needs to have a break. a long needed break. five seconds of ‘words with friends’ just doesn’t cut it.
so in approximately 13 hours i will be joined with two others to embark on what i’m expecting to be an eventful roadtrip. why, you may ask? because all four, yes, all four ways to colorado will be not only dusted with snow but covered in it. some may even have ice. hooray. for. us.
i actually enjoy the light fluffy flakes – i mean, really, who doesn’t. except this is like vanilla vs. chocolate; good vs. evil; david vs. goliath. it’s going to be exciting! i hope to be driving for a good ways of it, but when i’m not i will be posting pics (no matter the lameness) so stayed tuned if you happen to be snowed in on wednesday. to be continued…
